Recycle your books at the Adult Learning Center

Eileen at the Adult Learning CenterI just dropped off a "save the drama for your mama" shirt to Eileen at Milwaukee's Adult Learning Center, and found out you can recycle your old books there.

The Adult Learning Center, located at 1916 N. 4th Street, hosts a Book Sale and Open House every October and all proceeds benefit the center’s adult education programs.

Donations of gently used books and CDs are accepted year round and may be dropped off at the front desk Monday-Thursday.

The Adult Learning Center is an educational center for adults located on Milwaukee’s north side. In accordance with its mission, the center provides motivated adults with basic education, life-long learning opportunities and resources to transform their lives and contribute to their communities, in the spirit of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the principles of social justice.
