I offered to trade him a Teecycle shirt, and wouldn't you know it, he picked out my favorite Wisconsin shirt. I kind of hate him for that. But it was worth it.

Stories of how some people are turning Black Friday... Green

I'm getting ready for a Burn the Turkey hike with my friends, then I'm cleaning my house! -Jennifer B

I'm in Canada, where we don't have Black Friday, but even if I were in the States, I wouldn't deal with insane crowds to save a few bucks on stuff I don't really need. I will be spending my day attending a free lecture at the Montreal Neurological Institute entitled "ALS Genetics - what has it given us?" - Brendan Y

taking a drug test. yippee. -(Identity redacted)

Today I am going to meet a friend for coffee. I used to work with him at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and he no longer lives in St. Louis. However he comes into town briefly for holidays because his family lives here. So we'll meet for coffee and probably go for a long walk and talk about all kinds of things. -Dave Gray

Going to the library! -Brandi B

I'm staying home knitting and reading! -Maggie S

Frankie and are watching cartoons, then we're going to take the bus downtown to play basketball, see THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX and eat dinner -- possibly at Hooters. What's greener than that? I'd like to know.... -Bill

Never done a Black Friday, doubt I ever will. Bought movies on clearance at Blockbuster y'day. Watching those with fam. -Track 13

Eating leftovers, reading a book, entering Twitter contests! -Pete

First, I never shop on Black Friday. Second, I am in TN. The only purchase today will be lunch & a massage, after the woods. - Karen
